More Idiocy from Islington

Reassuring to see the think-police of Islington maintaining their reputation for idiocy in these troubled times and planning to re-name their local school (formerly St. Mary Magdalene) after a rock venue. Can we expect them to seek sponsorship from a brewery or soft drinks manufacturer too?
Apparently councillors objected to the title "Saint" as being offensive to other religions (and- obviously- elitist to boot). Does it not occur to these people that religions other than Christianity have saints too and probably see such a gesture more as a further erosion of ethical standards in liberal society than some form of (patronising) inclusivity? And did it ever occur to you that the sooner we stop financing these propaganda sheds fr0m poisoning our children with their threats of eternal agony if they don't LOVE the diety threatening them that we may have a healthier society, with fewer screwed up maniacs roaming the streets, and that we could use the resources they consume to finance real education in real schools which taught children how to be humans rather than robotic slaves of a squalid Bronze Age diety born in a blood soaked desert civilisation?
